"Quite introverted as a human being, Bardhan likes to travel a lot and goes to the interior places/ villages/ tribal area and showcasing their lifestyle in her work. “I have travelled to various places in interior West Bengal & spend time ther observing their culture, lifestyle & daily activities and finally showcase these characters especially women in my works. For e.g: women doing weaving , daily chores etc. My hard work is paid off when people appreciate my works and curiously ask many question about them" says Mrs Bardhan.

She has travelled widely in India from Desert in Jaisalmer to Ganges in Gomukh, Rishikesh, Varanasi , shallow waters of Sunderbans etc. Her paintings reflect diversity & versatility found in culture & heritage in India."
